Shipping and Delivery

Goods are shipped in the manufacturer’s original packaging and/or on a pallet (when required due to product type, weight or fragility).

Ownership of the products passes to the customer after full payment or at the time of delivery, whichever occurs later. The risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by them and different from the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

For logistical reasons, the carrier used may differ from the one indicated in the order confirmation.

Shipments include transport insurance for damage or loss, unless explicitly deselected by the customer before completing the order. Without insurance, the carrier’s liability is limited to 1 Euro per Kg of goods.


Mandatory inspection upon delivery (BEFORE SIGNING)

At the time of delivery, before signing, the recipient must carefully verify that:

  1. The number and condition of the packages correspond to the delivery note (automatically sent by email when shipment is confirmed and which the recipient is required to consult before delivery).
  2. The packaging is intact and shows no crushing, tears, holes or moisture.
  3. The pallet is present, if the shipment was expected to be palletised.
  4. No suspicious noises are detected (if possible, gently shake the package).

If any of these checks fail, never sign without a specific reservation.


Important: “reservation of control” has no legal value

The wording “reservation of control” is generic and has no legal or insurance value.

A signature with “reservation of control” is considered by the carrier and the insurer exactly the same as a signature without any reservation.

  • “Reservation of control” means no valid reservation.
  • It is considered acceptance of the goods in good condition.
  • It does not allow the opening of damage or insurance claims.

Without a specific and detailed reservation, any request for refund, replacement or compensation will be rejected.

    J’ai commandé un robinet mitigeur Smeg MIDR7O-2 sur Kasastore.com et l’expérience globale a été très satisfaisante. Le site est clair, la commande s’est déroulée sans difficulté et le paiement par carte via Stripe est rassurant. Les informations de commande sont détaillées et bien présentées, ce qui permet de suivre facilement le statut dans l’espace client. Le produit correspond parfaitement à la description : design élégant, qualité Smeg au rendez-vous et finitions haut de gamme. Le délai de livraison annoncé (2–3 semaines, sur commande) est raisonnable pour ce type d’article, même si cela demande un peu de patience. Les frais de port et les taxes sont clairement indiqués, sans mauvaise surprise. Seul petit point à améliorer : la communication pourrait être légèrement plus fluide concernant l’avancement précis de la commande avant l’expédition. Dans l’ensemble, je recommande Kasastore pour la qualité des produits et le sérieux du service.
