CookiesShipping and Delivery
Goods are shipped in the original manufacturer’s packaging and/or on pallets.
Ownership of the products passes to the customer after full payment or at the time of delivery, if later. The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when the consumer or a third party (other than the carrier) takes physical possession of the goods.
For logistical reasons, the carrier used may differ from the one indicated in the order confirmation.
Shipping includes insurance against transport damage or loss, unless the customer deselects it before completing the order. Without insurance, compensation is limited to 1 Euro per kg of goods.
Guidelines for proper receipt of goods
Upon delivery, before signing, please check that:
- The number and appearance of packages match the transport document received by email.
- The packaging is intact, not damaged, wet, or altered.
- The delivered items match in codes and quantities.
Sign only if the goods are in GOOD CONDITION.
Missing packages
If packages are missing, accept the goods and write on the delivery note:
“GOODS ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION – MISSING PACKAGES”.
Without this note, missing items cannot be claimed.
Visible damage
If the packaging shows clear damage (tears, dents, holes, suspicious noises, etc.):
- Reject the shipment with the note “DAMAGED GOODS”; or
- Accept with specific reservation, writing the reason (e.g. “crushed packaging”, “opened packaging”).
Without a specific reservation, no refund is possible.
If accepted with specific reservation, notify us within 24 hours at reclami@kasastore.it with description and photos.
Compromised packaging
If the packaging is not in proper condition (minor damages, missing pallet, etc.), accept the goods with specific reservation indicating the reason. Without it, any right to refund is lost.
In case of acceptance with reservation, notify us within 24 hours at reclami@kasastore.it.
Hidden damage
If damage is discovered after unpacking (outer packaging intact):
- Keep packaging and labels.
- Within 24 hours, email
reclami@kasastore.it with:
- Shipment details (document number/date, product code, quantity).
- Description of the damage and package condition at receipt.
- Photos of damaged goods and packaging.
- Declaration: “goods available for inspection”.
Claims for hidden damage will only be processed after acceptance by the carrier.
Failed delivery
Failed delivery charges may apply if, for example:
- The order is cancelled after dispatch.
- Incorrect/incomplete contact details or delivery address are provided.
- Delivery is refused upon arrival.
- No one is available to accept the delivery.
- Access/parking restrictions were not communicated.
After two failed delivery attempts, all shipping, storage, and handling costs will be charged to the customer.
